New Little Big Planet Gameplay footage has been released from the US Sony Gamer’s Day that is taking place. The videos show off various aspects of the game although the first one has a nice demonstration gone wrong of how the PlayStation Eye works in the game. Take a look below:

Microsoft are holding a “Gamer’s Day” tomorrow in the US, or in other words an invite only press event…It’s all due to kick off at 5pm BST on Tuesday where it’s expected Microsoft will try to hammer home the message that Xbox 360 is for the whole family, not just the core gamer. Expected announcements are Viva Pinata 2, Banjo Kazooie 3, Scene it 2 and many more. It’s also strongly rumoured MS will announce a motion sensor controller similar to that of the Wii, but different enough to avoid a lawsuit.

Microsoft are expected to announce Viva Pinata 2 from Rare at a “gamers day” event in the US tomorrow. In the mean time numerous screenshots of the game have leaked onto the net in advance of the announcement. Take a look below:

Sony have announced in a press release following the “Gamers day” press conference that Europe will be receiving the Metal Gear Solid PS3 Hardware bundle but the contents will not match that offered in Japan or the US. Sadly in Europe we will have to be content with a standard six axis controller. Sony say in their press release this package will offer “millions of PS3 and MGS fans around the world the ultimate gaming combo”. Many gamers will find this statement a little hard to believe when other territories will get a Dualshock 3 controller in the bundle. While it may offer the ultimate combo in Japan and the US, it clearly doesn’t in Europe. Sony goes on to say ”Available from June 12 and priced at 439,99 Euros this offer is one of the most exciting bundles to date”.
