A group of gamers have begun to camp outside a shop in Sweden in preparation for the release of GTA IV. GameRush report “ cold weather hasn’t prevented those eager to be the very first to play Rockstar’s highly anticipated title from setting camp”. Amazingly it would appear as though one of them is even a girl! Sadly they seem to be unaware of online shopping or they could have just pre-ordered months ago, then waited in the comfort of their home for delivery. Unfortunately for them they will be still be camping outside the shop on the morning of release whereas most online purchasers will have already received the game the day before as is usually the case when pre-ordering online in advance of release. Still good luck to them.
All is not quite as it seems though as a thread on MaxConsole reveals that the gamers may not be as silly as first thought. The shop is selling an Xbox 360 Elite and a copy of the game for $1 to the first 10 people in the queue on launch day.
